Farewell Mrs Hewson
Farewell to Mrs Hewson, our Principal, who worked diligently for 12 years to make Connells Point the great school that it is. You will be dearly missed. We wish you all the best at your new school, they are very lucky to have you.
I Am Australian
This photo montage was created for our school's 2013 Performing Arts Showcase. 'I am Australian' is our school song and encmpasses our school values and what we hope to achieve as a country.

CPPS - The Song
Join the students and staff of Connells Point Public School as we celebrate all of the things that make our school great. Please feel free to share the link with all of your family and friends.
Be warned though... the song is very catchy!
We would like to wish all of our grandparents a very happy Grandparents Day. We appreciate the support that you offer our students, school and community.
21st Century Communication
Our school's entry entitled ‘21st Century Communication' won the 2011 KWN New Vision Award for Primary Schools in NSW and the ACT. The award was announced at a national ceremony held at the Dendy opera Quays, which involved finalists from every state in Australia. Congratulations to the students involved!
This video was created by 6C during 2010. We filmed in one day and intend to screen the film clip at our Performing Arts Concert, later in the year. The original song ‘Letter B' was performed on Sesame Street and is a parody of The Beatles classic, ‘Let It Be'. We hope that you enjoy our video and thanks for watching!
Skipping Team - 2010
I hope that you enjoy watching the Skipping Routine from our 2010 Performing Arts Showcase. The performance took place at Sutherland Entertainment Centre on December 1st. The footage was taken by GOODTIMES Video Productions and I thank them for allowing us to share some of their footage (www.goodtimes.com.au). Congratulations to the entire Skipping Team, who worked together to produce a fantastic routine. I would especially like to thank Christiane for her leadership, talent and help with the choreography.
Elements Song - 2010
I hope that you enjoy this video of three of our Year 6 students (Liam, Mina and Jared) taking on the Elements Song written by Tom Lehrer. The students did a wonderful job memorising and singing the song at our 2010 Performing Arts Showcase. The footage was taken by GOODTIMES Video Productions and I thank them for allowing us to share their footage (www.goodtimes.com.au)
Since the song was published in 1959, there have been 15 more elements discovered (some synthetically), and ten of those have been named. The ten are lawrencium, rutherfordium, dubnium, seaborgium, bohrium, hassium, meitnerium darmstadtium, roentgenium and copernicium.
Point In Time - 2009
Point in Time is a short film created by the Connells Point Public School Drama Group to celebrate our school's 75th anniversary. We entered it in the 2009 CLI short film competition and made it to the second round of judging. The essential item was a chair, which we used in the latter part of the film (an antique chair from the original assembly hall). The video was limited to 3 minutes and was written, filmed and edited by the students (with some teacher encouragement and assistance). All of the students were in Years 4 to 6 and aged between 9 and 12 years of age.
That's Mathematics - Year 4 2008
The students in Year 4 loved making this video, the only drawback being that you can't get the song out of your head! Don't believe it? Just watch it a couple of times and see! We hope that you enjoy... That's Mathematics!
