Mission Statement

Connells Point Public School aims to provide a happy, supportive environment where children are encouraged to become self-motivated, co-operative learners while striving for excellence in their academic, cultural, physical and social development.

Belief Statements

       they are in a happy, secure, stimulating and flexible learning environment;

       there is a relationship between teacher and student based on trust and mutual respect;

       motivation for learning is intrinsic and extrinsic;

       the range of teaching strategies and learning activities allows students to

set achievable goals with the provision for challenge and enrichment;

       students and teachers reflect and self-evaluate;

       students are assessed in a variety of ways; and

       parents fully support and value their children's learning.

At Connells Point Public School, we expect our students to:

       attend school regularly and punctually;

       respect and care for the rights of others;

       follow the instructions of teachers and others in authority;

       behave in a responsible, courteous manner within and outside the school;

       observe the school uniform requirements.
